KIEFER SUTHERLAND - SUTHERLAND PLAYS PROUD FATHER

TV action man KIEFER SUTHERLAND donned a Scottish kilt on Thursday (06MAY04) as he led his step-daughter MICHELLE KATH up the aisle to wed her actor fiance.

The 24 star escorted 27-year-old Kath - daughter by his first wife CAMELIA KATH - to her wedding with Scottish actor ADAM SINCLAIR, who has appeared in British television series AS IF and MILE HIGH, in Edinburgh's CITY CHAMBERS.

The couple will tie the knot for a second time in Hollywood for their American friends and relatives.

Sutherland enthuses, "This is my very own kilt, which I've had my several years. All my family are from Scotland and I'm proud to wear the kilt, especially in my homeland and on a beautiful evening such as this."

Sutherland's daughter SARAH JUDE, 16, from his brief marriage to Camelia, was bridesmaid.
