KEIFER SUTHERLAND - SUTHERLAND HELPS SAVE CO-STAR'S LIFE

KEIFER SUTHERLAND helped save the life of his 24 co-star REIKO AYLESWORTH when she slipped and seriously injured her head at a party recently.

The pair were socialising in Hollywood when Aylesworth, who plays MICHELLE DESSLER in the American TV drama, slipped on a split drink and landed awkwardly - bruising both the front and rear of her head.

Sutherland acted quickly in gathering the striken star up and racing her to hospital.

She says, "Doctors tell me I'm lucky to be alive because a lot of people die from these types of injuries.

"Keifer did a great job and he stayed with me a while."
