KIEFER SUTHERLAND - SUTHERLAND DESERTED ON 24

KIEFER SUTHERLAND will be lonely on set when the new series of hit TV show 24 starts filming later this year (03) - most of his castmates have left the programme.

The rugged Hollywood star will be without many of his current co-stars on the third series- particularly the female ones his character JACK BAUER has romanced.

Bauer's wife TERRI, actress LESLIE HOPE, died at the end of series one and his new girlfriend KATE, played by actress SARAH WYNTER, will not be brought back for the new series.

Also absent will be Kiefer's daughter KIM, played by ELISHA CUTHBERT and SHERRY PALMER who is portrayed by PENNY JOHNSON JERALD.
