KIEFER SUTHERLAND and his 24 co-stars made so many hilarious blunders while filming the series, he insists they should be made into a spoof film.

The actor, who plays federal agent JACK BAUER in the apocalyptic drama, feels an AIRPLANE-style movie to parody the intense drama is an excellent idea.

He says, "We've made a lot of jokes about that actually.

"There was one scene where I was scaling the wall of the Chinese embassy and the dart gun in my holster fell out in the dark and went off and shot me in the a** halfway up the wall.

"There were so many things that had gone wrong when we were trying to shoot, we thought it would be very funny to do a film that was a complete spoof of 24.

"(Like Airplane) but us doing it."

He jokes, "Either that, or a musical."
