Original SURVIVOR winner RICHARD HATCH's sentencing in his tax-evasion case has been delayed until 16 May (06). The 45-year-old was found guilty in January (06) of failing to pay taxes on his $1 million (GBP570,000) Survivor prize and other income. Hatch has been jailed in Plymouth, Massachusetts since his conviction and requested he be put in protective custody shortly after he was detained because of his celebrity status. He faces a maximum sentence of up to 13 years in prison if convicted.
