DEATH ROW RECORDS - SUGE CONSIDERS SPORTING CAREER

Heavyweight rap boss MARION 'SUGE' KNIGHT is considering quitting the music business and becoming a college football coach.
The DEATH ROW RECORDS founder, who was shot in the leg at a pre-MTV Video Music Awards party last month (AUG05), is seriously thinking about walking away from the industry that has made him a multi-millionaire to live out his sporting dreams.
Knight, who insists he could retire tomorrow and still live a wealthy life from all his achievements to date, is interested in taking gang youths in California and turning them into athletes.
He says, "I'm at a point where probably in the next couple of years I'm gonna go coach football. It's something I enjoy. I don't need a paycheque for it.
"I like the idea of coaching at a junior college because the majority of athletes there would normally go to a four-year school but don't have the S.A.T's (qualifications).
"I wanna be involved with the guys who got some talent but maybe haven't been taught a lot lifewise."
And, before the shooting incident last month, Knight was beginning to get into shape - so he could take the pressures of being a football coach in his stride.
He explains, "I've been running a lot lately. I like to be outside... two, three, four miles a day around the streets."
