ADAPTATION star MERYL STREEP has an unusual new part in upcoming TV movie ANGELS IN AMERICA - she's playing a man.
The OSCAR-winning actress took the role in THE GRADUATE director MIKE NICHOLS' adaptation of the TONY KUSHNER play for channel HBO.
And Streep relished the challenge of finding her masculine side for the part.
She says, "I never played a man - until this year. (It was) shockingly easy."
