The ROLLING STONES, PAUL McCARTNEY, NEIL YOUNG and KANYE WEST are among the artists who have signed up to perform as part of an MTV/VH1 telethon to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

The rock and rap heavyweights will be among the highlights on Saturday's (10SEP05) ReAct Now: Music + Relief special, which will air live on America's cable networks MTV, VH1 and CMT.

STAIND, MELISSA ETHERIDGE, MOTLEY CRUE, newly-engaged SHERYL CROW, LUDACRIS, USHER, ALICIA KEYS, GREEN DAY, DAVE MATTHEWS BAND and KID ROCK are also on the bill, either performing live or on tape.

During the show, the cable networks will be urging Americans to give more money to relief charities trying to help families left devastated by last month's (AUG05) hurricane.
