Sexy Hollywood star SHARON STONE is delighted she is enjoying a career resurgence aged 47, because it proves mature woman can still succeed in age-centric Hollywood.

Stone, who has been named as the new face of Christian Dior, has landed movie roles in JIM JARMUSCH's BROKEN FLOWERS and the forthcoming BASIC INSTINCT 2: RISK ADDICTION, proving her career is far from over.

And Stone is delighted she has proved experience and matured beauty can take precedence over youth.
