Hollywood star SHARON STONE is travelling to Israel next month (MAR06) to promote peace in the troubled region.
The BROKEN FLOWERS actress, 47, has been invited as a guest for the Peres Center for Peace and the 10th annual Women's Festival in Holon.
Stone says, "This is an opportunity for me to learn about the situation from up close."
Former Israeli prime minister SHIMON PERES enthuses, "She is a good model for how women can contribute to the world."
