STING - STING'S WIFE: SWINGING STORIES ARE FALSE

STING's wife TRUDIE STYLER has slammed yesterday's (25MAR04) reports of the couple enjoying a swinging lifestyle, as widely off the mark.

Film producer Styler laughs off the stories - that she and the former POLICE singer enjoy having sex with other people - and is amused by other people's perceptions of their marriage.

The 49-year-old says, "The idea that we are going at it like rabbits makes me smile, really.

"Sting was laughing his head off. They published a picture of him in a sex shop, which was supposed to prove what a perv he really is, but he was in HUSTLER with my best friend NATALIE buying me a Valentine's Day (14FEB04) present.

"Maybe we should spend more time at home in the countryside. I hear they do it more there because they get bored."

And Styler admits to being as much in love with Sting as when they first became lovers 22 years ago.

She says, "Look, we are very much in love, we have a wonderful physical married life, a great sex life, and we've never hidden that."

As for reports that she's a lesbian, Styler comments, "I love women. I have women friends but I'm definitely a heterosexual."

She also refutes accusations she has taken ecstasy, saying, "That is totally made up.

"I like juices and antioxidants. I'm a health nut. I absolutely didn't say that."
