STING - STING PAYS TRIBUTE TO HIS WIFE

STING honoured his wife TRUDIE STYLER at the Baccarat UNICEF Snowflake Ball in Beverly Hills last week (30NOV05), by telling guests he was the luckiest man in the room.

After serenading the actress with the song he wrote for her, FIELD OF GOLD, Sting took a moment to praise his spouse, who was being honoured with the UNICEF Danny Kaye Humanitarian Award at the gala.

He said, "A man can't really tell his wife enough times how much he loves her or how beautiful she is. And I do this every day.

"But what I don't say enough, and I want to say this publicly right now, is how grateful I am for all you've given me - and the world - of your heart."

Styler's pal ROBERT DOWNEY JR took to the stage at the Regent Beverly Wilshire event to present the actress with her honour, sporting a fake black eye that he claimed Sting had given him for "flirting" with his wife.
