Caption: * BOWIE & Sting (Picture)'S NEW BURLESQUE CLUB FINDS A HOME A once-famous New York Mafia haunt is set to become the site of DAVID BOWIE and STING's new burlesque club. The odd couple has teamed up with Los Angeles club boss Ivan Kane with a view to replicating his Forty Deuce hang....

Crusading eco-campaigner STING has been slammed by the same green groups he claims to support after announcing an open-air concert in a Spanish national park. The environmentalist hopes to raise awareness of endangered landscapes as part of a Musicians In Nature programme and has scheduled to perform on 1 July (06) in the protected grounds of Sierra de Gredos. However, Spanish group Ecologists In Action have blasted the gig, fearing the noise will disturb wildlife and the 9,000 ticket-holders so far will litter the area. A spokesperson fumes, "The concept of promoting natural spaces by holding big concerts has nothing to do with the spirit of a national park."
