Former STEPS babe FAYE TOZER has ditched her girl-next-door image and relaunched herself as a sexy rock chick.
The previously squeaky-clean pop beauty is off to Los Angeles this month (APR03) to record her debut solo album, which she says will be "guitar-based" and "soulful".
Faye gushes, "I'm working with the people behind PINK and CHRISTINA AGUILERA's last albums. My solo album will be full of a lot more real emotion. This album is going to be full of pain and angst. In Steps we were just like puppets. Now I can do what I want and it is so refreshing."
