STEPHEN KING - STEPHEN KING FOLLOWS THE RED SOX FOR NEW BOOK

Horror writers STEPHEN KING and STEWART O'NAN are teaming up to pen a book about a shared passion - notorious baseball losers the BOSTON RED SOX.

The two authors will attend Red Sox games throughout the year, making notes as they go along on the team which hasn't won a World Series since 1918.

Their notes will be complied and then published in a hardcover book, by SCRIBNER, at the end of the year (04).

O'Nan says, "I just got back from spring training, and the guys are ready. I'm ready. Everyone's ready. This is the year. It's do-or-die time."

The team is also avidly supported by Hollywood hunk BEN AFFLECK.
