STELLA MCCARTNEY - STELLA URGES HER STAFF TO BE NICE

Designer STELLA McCARTNEY has opened her new Hollywood boutique with one unwavering rule - her staff have to be nice to customers.

The daughter of former BEATLE, SIR PAUL McCARTNEY invited a selection of stars - including CATE BLANCHETT, DEMI MOORE, ASHTON KUTCHER and HILARY DUFF - to the opening of her store on Sunday evening (28SEP03).

And while many will see the store as a place for the rich and famous, Stella worked her hardest to ensure it was as homely as possible for everybody.

She says, "I think a lot of stores have lost the human touch. I used to get really scared walking into shops, so I tell everyone who works for me, 'You have to be nice to everyone.'"
