GWEN STEFANI - STEFANI'S MUSIC TAKES A BACKSEAT

Pop beauty GWEN STEFANI's music has taken a backseat to her lovelife, following her 2002 engagement to now-husband GAVIN ROSSDALE.

The NO DOUBT frontwoman admits she was obsessed with her career until the British BUSH singer popped the question on New Years Day (01JAN) 2002 and she was surprised to see her priorities change overnight.

Stefani explains, "Having the creative life of being devoted to a band is so intense, so having a partner who is doing the same thing is a blessing. Someone who understands through all those years of living in different countries.

"Since we've been engaged, we've really spent a lot of time together. We got married, and suddenly the band isn't number one."
