GWEN STEFANI relished her cameo in THE AVIATOR so much she is secretly developing her own movie - and she plans to take the starring role.

The COOL singer, who also designs her own fashion range, is keen to turn her talents to acting, but insists the project is still in early days.

She says, "I would love to do another movie, like to have a real role - not that that wasn't - I mean JEAN HARLOW in a MARTIN SCORSESE movie is not bad! But I would love to do a film.

"I have something I'm developing right now, but with films there's so many people involved and it costs so much, and there's so much at risk; I don't like to talk about it.

"When it's coming out I'll talk about it."
