LITTLE RICHARD - STARS JOIN MOURNERS AT RAWLS FUNERAL

LATEST: LITTLE RICHARD, former BAYWATCH star DAVID HASSELHOFF and actor LOU GOSSETT JR were among the mourners at LOU RAWLS' funeral service in South Los Angeles yesterday (13JAN06).

Hundreds of people packed south Los Angeles' West Angeles Church of God in Christ on Crenshaw Blvd to pay their last respects to the soul singer.

REVD JESSE JACKSON officiated over proceedings, which featured readings and gospel music.

Rawls' family asked family and friends to donate money to America's United Negro College Fund, of which Rawls was a fervent supporter, instead of paying for flowers.
