JESSICA SIMPSON - STARS COME OUT FOR TAO BOSS' WEEKEND BIRTHDAY BASH

Las Vegas, Nevada club boss JASON STRAUSS celebrated his 32nd birthday in style at the weekend (07-09APR06) with an all-star party and plenty of big-name surprises. The Tao Las Vegas co-owner's celebrity guests, including JAY-Z and JESSICA SIMPSON, dined on sushi and wasabi crusted filet mignon and lobster on Friday (07APR06). They then joined HILTON sisters PARIS and NICKY, TAYE DIGGS, NAS, KELIS and JAMIE-LYNN SIGLER, among others, for an after-midnight party at his trendy club. But the celebrity highlight for Strauss came when NAPOLEON DYNAMITE star JON GRIES proposed a toast to the birthday boy. Gries played UNCLE RICO in Strauss' favourite film. Paris Hilton had another surprise in store - she sang along to her own tune, SCREWED, after slipping the night's DJ, DJ REACH, a copy of the single. Sister Nicky joined her for a table-top dance. The party continued on Saturday night (08APR06) when USHER flew in from Atlanta, Georgia to party with Strauss, LUDACRIS, Nas and Kelis.
