ALVIN STARDUST - STARDUST REUNITED WITH FIRST GUITAR

Seventies singer ALVIN STARDUST is thrilled he's finally retrieved his first guitar, which he lost nearly half a century ago.

The JEALOUS MIND rocker's prized instrument was signed by a host of stars, including BUDDY HOLLY, EDDIE COCHRAN and THE BEATLES so he was devastated when his mother misplaced the valuable piece of rock memorabilia.

But nearly 50 years later, after his mother's death, Stardust found it in a dusty box at the back of his parents' garage in Nottinghamshire, England.

He says, "There were times when I thought my mum had probably thrown it out. The case was covered in mould and I was a bit nervous about opening it. But I saw all those wonderful names again."
