Former STAR TREK actor PATRICK STEWART has disappointed fans of the cult TV show by admitting he is a technical failure in real life.
The 56-year-old veteran, who played JEAN-LUC PICARD in the hit series, is embarrassed when fans expect him to understand complex scientific jargon, because he can't even work basic household appliances.
He says, "Just because I flew the Enterprise for seven years, people think that I know what I'm talking about.
"The trouble is I wish I could work out how to run the air conditioning in my car and I can't even programme my video."
