STAPP CONSIDERED SUICIDE

Former CREED frontman SCOTT STAPP has stunned fans by revealing he considered suicide after the group's 2003 tour because he was so addicted to booze and pills.

The rocker admits he contemplated shooting himself during a rage at his home while high on the drug Percocet - but a photograph of his son JAGGER made him think twice.

Stapp, who left the group following the 2003 Weathered tour, recalls, "I wanted to end my life. I just turned and shot the house up and I just broke down.

"I was like, 'I was about to blow my head off. How low can I get?'"

Stapp is now back on a personal high after proposing to his longterm girlfriend JACLYN NESHEIWAT. The couple plans to wed next month (10FEB06).
