Director STEVEN SPIELBERG's new movie MUNICH is odds-on favourite to scoop the Best Picture Oscar at next year's (05) ceremony - three weeks before it is released in the US.
The movie, which will debut in America on 23 December (05), has become betting site Sportsbook.com's 5-2 favourite to scoop the coveted honour when the Academy Awards take place in Hollywood on 5 March.
Almost 15 per cent of all money wagered on the site has been on Munich. Other films popular with gamblers include WALK THE LINE, CINDERELLA MAN and BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN.
GEORGE CLOONEY movies SYRIANA and GOOD NIGHT AND GOOD LUCK are enjoying odds of 8-1 and 15-1, respectively, while TOM CRUISE's WAR OF THE WORLDS languishes at the bottom with odds of 750-1.
