JESSE SPENCER - SPENCER TREATS FANS

HOUSE star JESSE SPENCER is being plagued by fans requiring medical attention, because his role in the hit US medical drama has them convinced he is a qualified medic.

The 26-year-old, who plays DR ROBERT CHASE, is thrilled with his new found fame, but is baffled when fans ask him to diagnose their ailments.

He says, "I was in Las Vegas and I had this Australian guy come up to me - which is really good, I love Aussies, they're so great and so chilled - anyway, the first thing he says is, 'I've got a lump on my leg.'

"And he really did. I told him to go and see a specialist, but I also told him I thought it was a benign cyst."
