PHIL SPECTOR - SPECTOR CHARGED

LATEST: Legendary record producer PHIL SPECTOR has been charged with murder following the 3 February (03) shooting of actress LANA CLARKSON at his Alhambra, California, home.

Spector's $1 million (GBP588,235) bail was extended a second time earlier this month (NOV03), while the Los Angeles District Attorney's office considered whether or not to charge him.

Spector, 62, has repeatedly denied he killed Clarkson, suggesting in a recent interview in ESQUIRE magazine that she may have shot herself.
