BRITNEY SPEARS - SPEARS SLASHES PRICE OF PENTHOUSE

Singer BRITNEY SPEARS has slashed the asking price for her Manhattan, New York City, penthouse in a final attempt to sell it - two years after it was first listed on the property market. The new asking price is $4.55 million (GBP2.6 million), a reduction on the previous asking price of $4.95 million (GBP2.8 million). The home features three bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms, a media room, library and terrace. The TOXIC singer bought the apartment in 2002, before she married KEVIN FEDERLINE and gave birth to son SEAN PRESTON. Spears purchased the apartment for $3 million (GBP1.7 million) and then put it on the market in 2004 for $6 million (GBP3.4 million). Previous owners of the home include ROLLING STONE KEITH RICHARDS and hip-hop mogul RUSSELL SIMMONS.
