Sexy singer BRITNEY SPEARS struggles to comprehend why her name's been immortalised on Hollywood Boulevard - because the legendary pavement belongs to all her heroes.

The OOPS!...I DID IT AGAIN beauty was honoured with a star on the famous Los Angeles sidewalk in November (03), but her mum LYNNE admits her daughter remains baffled by the accolade, because she can't believe she's sharing space with some of the world's greatest singers and screen stars.

Lynne says, "She and I still can't believe her name is on Hollywood Boulevard. I remember walking down that street and taking pictures of all the star's names and hand prints in the sidewalk years ago.

"Never did we imagine that Britney would be there too. It's surreal!!"
