VELVET REVOLVER - SLASH FILES FOR DIVORCE

VELVET REVOLVER guitarist SLASH has reportedly filed for divorce from his second wife PERLA. The former GUNS N' ROSES star filed his divorce petition in Los Angeles on Thursday (27APR06). Slash - real name SAUL HUDSON - married Perla in 2000 and the couple have two sons, LONDON, four, and CASH, two. Rumours had circulated in recent months that Perla had been heavily involved in her husband's career, leading to tension with other members of Velvet Revolver. Representatives have denied there was any rift within the band and insist they are now in the studio recording their second album.
