Pop beauty SOPHIE ELLIS BEXTOR has split from her manager boyfriend ANDY BOYD following a six-year relationship.

The MURDER ON THE DANCEFLOOR singer has moved out of the London house she shared with Andy, 11 years her senior, and is staying with an old school friend until she finds somewhere permanent to call home.

A pal explains, "They would argue all the time. But the break-up has come at a particularly bad time.

"Sophie is releasing a new single and there's a new album on its way. They hope to stay friends, and need to talk about whether Andy will remain her manager."

The friend adds, "Sophie wants to put it all behind her and just have a good time. Six years is a long time to be in a relationship and it's hard to get over, but she plans to hit the party scene."
