NANCY SINATRA was unimpressed with JESSICA SIMPSON's version of her song THESE BOOTS ARE MADE FOR WALKIN', even though the reality TV star had received help from Sinatra' daughter in arranging the vocals.

The song featured on the soundtrack to action comedy flick THE DUKES OF HAZZARD, and is performed by Simpson who also plays DAISY DUKE in the movie.

Sinatra's daughter AJ AZZARTO admits that her mother would have done things differently.

She says, "I helped Jessica put it together because one of my capacities in working with my family is working on the rights of the songs.

"They wanted to use a sample of the bass line and my mom has met Jessica so decided to help her.

"I think it wasn't quite the way mom would have liked it - not the same speed."
