Pop babe JESSICA SIMPSON is set to record a song with Irish boyband WESTLIFE in a bid to boost her profile in Europe.

The 24-year-old beauty is famous for her reality TV show NEWLYWEDS: NICK AND JESSICA with husband NICK LACHEY - but her songs have failed to set the European charts alight so she's teamed up with the boyband, reports MTV.COM.

Westlife's enviable European profile has already been harnessed to re-launch MARIAH CAREY's flagging career on the continent when their collaboration AGAINST ALL ODDS topped the British chart.
