Pop beauty JESSICA SIMPSON is devastated her "favourite actress" MERYL STREEP doesn't know who she is.
The singer - and star of reality show - THE NEWLYWEDS: NICK AND JESSICA - approached the OSCAR-winning actress at a gas station to compliment her on her impressive movie career, but was horrified when Streep asked her who she was.
The actress told Simpson, "But I'm sure my kids know who you are."
