Canadian rocker PIERRE BOUVIER was taken to hospital at the weekend (11SEP05) when he was hit by a glass bottle thrown at him by a fan.
The SIMPLE PLAN frontman was forced to leave the stage at the Ovation Music Festival in Ontario, Canada when he was struck in the head.
Bouvier was treated by local medics, who stitched up a deep gash in his head, but the singer is expected to be fine.
