RUSSELL SIMMONS - SIMMONS RECRUITS STARS FOR YOGA PROMO

Hip-hop mogul RUSSELL SIMMONS has enlisted a group of celebrities to star in an infomercial aimed at encouraging America to practice yoga.

The DEF JAM founder is a strong advocator of the fitness regime after he shed pounds morphing his body into the required daily positions.

And as part of his quest to encourage everyone to take up yoga, Simmons has devoted hours to assigning his famous pals to the TV promotion.

He says, "I have DONALD TRUMP, SERENA WILLIAMS, PROFESSOR ROBERT THURMAN (actress UMA THURMAN's dad), PUFFY (SEAN 'P DIDDY' COMBS) and the REVEREND RUN and my wife all in this yoga infomercial.

"We filmed Donald in his office, and he says, 'I knew Russell when he was a fat lunatic' - before yoga - 'and now I know Russell when he's thinner and less of a lunatic.'"
