KISS - SIMMONS CREATES A NEW GENERATION OF ROCKERS

KISS bassist GENE SIMMONS is teaching children how to rock in an upcoming British TV series - and network bosses are so thrilled with the concept they have already commissioned a second run.

ROCK SCHOOL, which is set to be screened on CHANNEL 4, sees the ANIMALIZE star training young classical music students in the wild ways of rock and roll - culminating in the 13-year-olds opening a show for rock band MOTORHEAD.

But even though the future looks bright for the show, Simmons is not popular with everyone.

Channel 4's entertainment mogul ANDREW NEWMAN says, "If I was to say Gene Simmons wasn't an idiot, I'd be lying."
