Illusionist duo SIEGFRIED + ROY will perform again, despite the tiger attack on ROY HORN - according to his partner SIEGFRIED FISCHBACHER.
Although officials at the MIRAGE hotel and casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, say the show has been closed indefinitely with its 267 employees looking for new jobs, Fischbacher believes they can still make a comeback.
He says, "Our show will go on.
"He's (Horn) the strongest person in the world. We'll get through this together. I'm sure he'll recover completely. He's over the worst."
Horn was attacked by a white tiger before a crowd of 1,500 at the Mirage on Friday (03OCT03), sustaining bites to him arm and neck. He underwent emergency surgery and had another surgery to relieve pressure on the brain.
Horn, 59, is responding to treatment but remains in critical condition at UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER.
The tiger remains quarantined.
