American rockers SHINEDOWN plan to take time out from the US tour to help build homes in New Orleans, Louisiana. The Florida-based four-piece will join forces with charity Habitat to help rehouse New Orleans residents, who were left homeless when Hurricane Katrina struck America's Gulf Coast last August (05). Frontman BRENT SMITH recently wore the slogan "New Orleans" on his clothes for two TV performances of new single I DARE YOU in a bid to remind Americans the city is far from back to normal, according to MTV.com.
