SHERYL CROW has ruled out wearing a certain VERA WANG gown when she exchanges vows with cyclist LANE ARMSTRONG later this year (06) - after donning it for a magazine photoshoot.

The singer thought it would be fun to try out one of her wedding dress choices for a new spread in Allure magazine - and has now ruled it out.

She says, "That dress had a particularly absurd amount of meringue, so I definitely was reassured that that's not what I wanna wear."

Crow refuses to announce a date for her nuptials in the accompanying article, but confirms she'll wed Armstrong in his hometown of Austin, Texas.
