DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES - SHERIDAN AND FIANCE SPLIT

DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES star NICOLLETTE SHERIDAN is single once again, after splitting with her fiance NICKLAS SODERBLOM.

The British-born actress accepted Swedish Soderblom's marriage proposal on New Year's Eve (31DEC04), and Sheridan had even revealed plans to include her two dogs in the bridal party.

But now her publicist NICOLE PERNA tells People magazine in a statement: "Nicollette Sheridan and Nicklas Soderblom have parted ways after a year and a half. They ask that you respect their privacy at this time."

Less than two weeks ago, Sheridan laughed off reports that she and Soderblom were calling it quits, saying, "They should get the facts right before they print things."

Sheridan was previously married to LA LAW star HARRY HAMLIN.
