LATEST: African-American leader AL SHARPTON has decided against starring in a sitcom based on his life.
The human rights activist and politician is no longer in talks with US network CBS to make AL IN THE FAMILY.
Instead, Reverend Sharpton wants to concentrate on his dream of becoming the first black American president, instead of following in the footsteps of 1970s ALL IN THE FAMILY star ARCHIE BUNKER.
He tells the New York Post, "I haven't done the things I've done to be in a sitcom. I'm not interested in being Archie Bunker, I'm looking forward to becoming GEORGE BUSH."
