Former SEX PISTOLS guitarist STEVE JONES has shocked the music world by confessing he hates punk, insisting he would rather listen to QUEEN instead.
The ANARCHY IN THE UK star admits his punk peers would have beaten him up if he'd have revealed his fondness for "cheesy" bands, but he can't fight his feelings any longer.
He says, "I don't really like punk. Most of it is c**p.
"What I like is considered quite cheesy - BOSTON, Queen, SLADE.
"In my punk days, I could never have admitted to liking bands like that. I'd have been given a beating."
