A woman who was drenched in raw sewage from the DAVE MATTHEWS BAND's tour bus is suing the American rockers for unspecified damages.
NANCY TODOR started legal proceedings after the 8 August (04) incident saw more than 100 tour boat passengers hit with raw sewage after tour bus driver STEFAN WOHL decided to empty a septic tank over the Kinzie Street Bridge in Chicago.
Todor, who was celebrating her 43rd birthday, says in her lawsuit that she was drenched in 'brownish-yellow liquid human waste' and that she became 'physically ill and extremely nauseous'.
The UNDER THE TABLE AND DREAMING musicians have already taken steps to make amends for the incident, even though they weren't on the bus at the time.
The five-piece has contacted the boat owner and tour operator to try to identify the affected passengers. They have also suspended the driver and are each donating $50,000 (GBP27,700) to the Chicago Park District and a non-profit group which protects the Chicago River.
