BLACK ROB - SEVEN YEARS FOR BLACK ROB

Bad Boy Records rapper BLACK ROB was sentenced to up to seven years in prison yesterday (30MAR06) on charges of grand theft. The hip-hop star - real name ROBERT ROSS - was arrested on a fugitive warrant last month (24FEB06) after failing to turn himself in to police in January (06) to begin a sentence of up to six years on burglary convictions, according to MTV. Ross was originally arrested in 2004 after he was caught on camera leaving the hotel room of a female guest with her pocket book. He pleaded guilty to criminal possession last November (06).
