The man behind SESAME STREET regulars BIG BIRD and OSCAR THE GROUCH is to be honoured at this year's (06) Daytime Emmy Awards for his puppeteering skills.
CARROLL SPINNEY, who has been a puppeteer since he was eight, has played the beloved muppets since Sesame Street began in 1969.
He will be honoured for his work entertaining and educating children.
