Serena Williams Acting Debut Postponed
Tennis sensation SERENA WILLIAMS has had her acting debut postponed because of recent knee surgery.
The 2003 WIMBLEDON winner is set to play a reformed gang member on parole in STREET TIME, and was scheduled to film her scenes in mid-August (03).
However, bosses have rearranged the shooting schedule and Serena is now set to begin filming on 8 September (03).
She says, "I am looking forward to filming the show. It's something that I am really excited about doing. It's so nice of them to accommodate me in this way."
The champion's only previous experience is filming TV advertisements with her sister, VENUS.
