ROBERT ENGLUND - SCI-FI SHOW V RETURNS

Cult 1980s sci-fi TV series V is set to return to screens as part of a four-hour mini-series.

Original V stars FAYE GRANT and FREDDY KRUEGER ghoul ROBERT ENGLUND will return for the new show, V: THE SECOND GENERATION.

The series takes place 20 years after V: THE FINAL BATTLE, which aired in the late 80s and follows the fortunes of a breed of lizard-like aliens who take over the earth, draining it of its water supplies.

The new show is set to air next year (05).
