FRIENDS star DAVID SCHWIMMER has shattered any hopes former S CLUB beauty TINA BARRETT has of dating him - by turning his amorous attentions to actress AMANDA PEET.

Last week (ends02JUL04) it was reported the British singer was due to fly over to Los Angeles to spend quality time with the actor, but Schwimmer has since been spotted on an intimate dinner date at plush New York eaterie LA BORTEGA with THE WHOLE NINE YARDS beauty Peet, according to UK newspaper the DAILY SPORT.

A source says, "I'm sure Tina will be disappointed, but David has moved on."

Schwimmer and Barrett sparked up a romance after meeting at a fashion awards party in London last month (JUN04), and the TV funnyman was reportedly so keen to develop their relationship, he invited her to stay with him.
