ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER - SCHWARZENEGGER LEFT HALLUCINATING ON NICOTINE GUM

ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER has vowed to be more cautious about nicotine gum in the future, after a batch given to him by pal TOM ARNOLD left him hallucinating while driving.

Arnold recently ditched his cigar habit - which saw him smoking up to a dozen a day - and now chews NICORETTE to keep himself away from the rolled tobacco. But when he gave some to pal and cigar smoker Schwarzenegger it almost prompted a road accident.

Arnold says, "He wanted a cigar but he had to drive a semi cause he was in Vegas... so I said, 'Hey, here's some Nicorette. Try this.'

"But I should've said, 'Take one.' He took six 'cause it's like gum and it tastes good. And so he called me (saying), 'You bastard! I'm hallucinating! I'm driving down the highway!'"
