SUSAN SARANDON - SARANDON KEEPS ROMANCE UNDER WRAPS

Actress SUSAN SARANDON won't talk to the press about her long-running romance with TIM ROBBINS - because she fears she'll jinx it.

Sarandon, who has dated - but never married - her BULL DURHAM co-star Robbins since 1988, admits she doesn't want to follow in the footsteps of so many celebrities before her who boast about their relationships, only to see them crumble moments later.

She says of her long-lasting romance, "I really have no secret, and the minute you start to talk about how great your relationship is, the gods smite you down and have something horrible happen... So I never talk about it."
